Meghan Scolyer


Meghan graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2018 with a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours in law. During her studies Meghan worked as an academic tutor at the University of Tasmania in a range of law subjects. She also participated successfully in several mooting competitions, and in 2019 represented Australia at the international Commonwealth Mooting Competition in Zambia, Africa, placing in the top 3.

Meghan was admitted to practice at the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2019, and joined Murdoch Clarke in 2020 after a year practicing with another local firm. Her primary area of practice is in family law. She is able to assist in a wide range of matters including children’s matters and parenting arrangements, child support, property settlements, binding financial agreements, divorce and spousal maintenance. She also has experience working in family violence and child protection, and can provide compassionate advice and representation to clients navigating these jurisdictions.

Meghan also has experience in litigation matters, particularly disputes of a commercial nature.

Meghan enjoys travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
