Liam Neilson
Liam studied at the University of Tasmania, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours in 2024 and being included in the University of Tasmania Roll of Excellence for outstanding academic achievement. Thereafter, Liam completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Tasmania in 2025.
Liam was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the High Court of Australia in 2025 and commenced as a lawyer at Murdoch Clarke the same year, previously working as a law clerk at the firm.
Liam works in the litigation department, and his practice areas include:
- Criminal law;
- Family violence and restraint orders;
- General civil disputes & debt recovery;
- Workers Compensation and personal Injury;
- Employment law; and
- Commercial disputes.
