Melissa Eddington
Melissa Eddington graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2005 and commenced practising in 2006 at Murdoch Clake. After working in other Hobart law firms from 2011 to 2025, Melissa returned to Murdoch Clarke.
Melissa has experience representing clients in all aspects of family law. Melissa regularly represents clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Melissa also assists clients reach negotiated outcomes.
Melissa can provide advice and representation in respect of:
- Property settlements including those involving business, superannuation splitting (including self-managed superannuation funds) and spouse maintenance.
- Parenting matters including those involving risk issues (such as family violence, substance abuse and mental health issues), paternity disputes, recovery and relocation of children.
- Child support matters including child support agreements.
- Financial Agreements in pre-nuptial or pre-cohabitation situations.
