Katie Kells

Katie graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2022 with a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Journalism (with Distinction). She joined Murdoch Clarke as a Lawyer in January 2026 after practicing for the last three years in firms across the east coast of New South Wales.

Katie is a Director on the board of a regional Ex-Services Group and volunteers with greyhound rescue charities. Her partner, having served over a decade in the Royal Australian Navy and now working with LifeFlight Tasmania, gives her an appreciation of the service and emergency response sectors and the organisations that support them.

Her areas of practice include commercial law, estate planning, deceased estate administration and deceased estate litigation.

In her spare time, Katie enjoys local markets, a good book, and exploring the outdoors with her partner, family and friends.
