James O’Shannessey
James O’Shannessey commenced with Murdoch Clarke in 2008 after graduating from the University of Tasmania with a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree.
James was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2008 and of the High Court of Australia in 2009.
James practises in civil litigation with a particular focus on personal injury related matters. He also has extensive experience in criminal litigation as well as in criminal justice matters such as criminal injuries compensation.
James regularly appears in the Magistrates Court and Supreme Court of Tasmania and has experience appearing in front of various other courts and commissions.
