Dominic Deayton
Dominic graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2016 with a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws, with First Class Honours in Law.
Dominic completed the Tasmanian Legal Practice Course and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2017, before joining Murdoch Clarke as a graduate solicitor.
Dominic practises predominantly in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injuries compensation, medical negligence, and commercial and contractual disputes. Dominic also has significant experience in estate litigation, professional disciplinary matters and criminal defence.
Dominic appears regularly in Tasmanian courts and tribunals, including as counsel in both civil and criminal trials.
In his spare time Dominic can often be found enjoying music, whether it be at live shows or adding to his substantial collection. He also enjoys escaping up the East coast from time to time.
